Early & Shine

Ever since I started preparing for O's, I've been waking up at a ridiculous timing: 7.48 AM
Sometimes it differs by a minute or so, but it's strange that I wake up at around the same timing everyday, excluding days which I have to wake up even earlier for morning papers.

Guess I turned my body clock back somehow :D

Today's the same old timing, so I'm blogging while majority are still tucked under their duvet.

No latest updates or whatsoever because I've been like 'a bird in a cage' since the last date to really get myself armoured for the battle. Haha In other words, no difference from a no-lifer, a nerd.

Well, it's the 2nd last paper tomorrow and I've cleared all irrelevant books away from my desk. Finally revealing 'nice-looking' oak than covering it with books.

Typing while waiting for Tokyo Juliet to load & munching on the butter cake Mom & I baked the day before.

It tastes better each day. I guess it's true you must let oven-baked cake to cool completely before you get the real cake taste.

And I seriously think I should get a job as soon as O's end since I don't have a r/s to commit to and majority of my gfs are attached, I'm 99.9% sure I'll be left out somehow.

Missing my mates

Was glad Sis called me to accompany her for some shopping on Sat.
After 3+ hrs of tuition, my brain was like half-dead.

Had a lot of purchases in mind at first, but all was either out of stock or sold out. What bad luck!

Met up with Daniel for a bit at MS. Was glad to meet up with old friends(:

"School-less"

12 hour day out

Samuel has made my day yesterday such a meaningful one.

I was on the verge of crying out facing all those materials until he msged me on msn.

He suggested that we should go on a "date" since both of us are so bored (I'm stressed!)

1hr later, I was on his Rvf enjoying the wind blowing on me.
I don't care if it blew right into my face & made my hair all messy!

I was really happy. Really.

Headed to Cathay to catch My Best Friend's Girl.

This week had gone past very slowly.. I wish every week's like that till O's!

At a total loss

School ended super early, much much earlier than usual.

Headed to Damai with Guojie, lunched with the girls at TM.

Last stop was at Mac when I broke down.

Routine's back

20 more mins to 12am, 6 more hours to ~~school~~hell.

Going through papers, dismissed before 2 everyday.. Nothing to grumble about!

But that's the problem.
I hate watching others' faces beaming when they received their results.. And I could just sit there blaming myself for being so lazy, not putting in more effort and of course, giving my fullest attention when papers are gone through.

Lovely Friends

Plans for a one night stay over at Pulau Ubin failed all because of a unreasonable old uncle who claims he's a EX law man. Wtf?

Nonetheless, I really really did enjoy myself even though we had to pay for the boat ride in return for nothing, cycle to and fro in search for other available chalets & suffer from mosquito attacks :D

Detestable weather

It had been raining non-stop for the past few days, especially in the evenings when I wanted so much for a jog to burn off the unwanted fats.

Today was no exception.

Seeing the weather was still fine at 6, I quickly changed into FBT, big tee & converse before it starts to pour unexpectedly.

Putting on the earpieces of my been-ages-since-i-last-touched ipod nano, I was looking foward to run an extra distance than usual.

But obviously, the sky ruined my high hopes.

Once I stepped out onto the 1st floor, I felt the chilly wind, heard the heavy droplets & knew it was pouring.

Cursed, rolled my eyes, I walked back into the lift which doors were still opened from where I came out from.

Seems like it knows the sudden pour even before I reached 1st storey .. & I would be heading back home.

I don't like the rain. AT ALL.

Lately, I'm addicted to shows, dramas & movies online.

Randomly, I could list out Hot Shot, Fated to Love You, The Legend of Brown Sugar Chivalries, Meet Dave, Wedding Daze, Driving Lessons, Forgetting Sarah Marshall & the list goes on ..

Strong feeling prelims' gonna be a huge failure. I know that, because I've been more engrossed with so many other stuff except for my books.

I dread the feeling of collecting papers, turning around to see classmates' beams while I look at my own reflection; glum face.

Sometimes I wonder why I'm still so distracted after wasting 1 yr.

This is a form of distraction.

I switched on & off the com for a couple of times.

For the first, I just wanted to check my mails & reply some comments.

Had it on for 10 mins & determinedly switched it off.

Switched it off immediately to avoid further distractions.

Was a lil proud by my determination.

But was disappointed after 5mins..

After hearing Miner's bday celebration for her loverboy, I seriously sensed their love for each other.

When prelims are nearing and with such a slacker(like me) whom basics are not even quite there yet, mugging definitely comes into the picture.

I envy those people who can afford to relax a lil before the exams.

Pain attack! & the best parents

I swear stomach aches are the worst kind of pain!

Okay.. Maybe not the worst.

But I seriously felt like dying on the spot so that I need not suffer the on & off pain my stomach's giving me!

Was on the bus to school when I suddenly felt that sharp, churning-of-juices pain.

Thought I could endure the pain till I arrived in school, but I was soon perspiring with cold sweat, pair of legs was shivering & my vision wasn't very clear.

I needed the ladies badly!

So, that's how I ended up in the ladies of a coffee shop 2 bus stops away from school.

I'd spare the process, but allow me to say,

it was effin torturous!

This is still the beginning. The worst part is..

there isn't any toilet paper!

Gosh.. I was in pain, head spinning & there's the problem of "how am I going to get out w/o any paper?!"

The only thing I thought of is to call for SOS; my Mom.

With a few calls in between, confirmation of my location & condition,

Mom & Dad were soon outside my cubicle with the damn toilet paper!

Really, how could I have lived till today without them?

To Mr & Mrs Tan:
I may not have spoken in a respectful manner towards both of you. I may not be a filial child among your 3 kids. I may have been a disappointment, regardless of studies or behaviour. But deep inside me, I know you are the best parents.

Feeling blue

I've just closed the site for ep 5 of Gossip Girl & I've no idea why it started to pour just then!

Whenever it rains, I'll that sudden urge to post an entry.

It just seems such a sophisticated thing to do when you plop down onto that rigid com chair(usage of 4yrs?), sipping a cup of coffee(which in my case, is milk), hearing the pitter-pattering of the rain & here am I, typing a post which contributes to my recollection of the past eventually.

Ah~ Quiet & peaceful. The best thing I could ever have.

That is why I've always wanted to live in the countryside, away from the hustle and bustle of town. Plainly for the sake of living, that is.

Of course, I would still love being in the modern city with the fashion & night life.

Oh~ I wanted so much to TRAVEL!

Mock exams, prelims & O's are such factors that are crowding in my life right now!

I need to de-stress, and you're not just talking about shopping, boozing & clubbing that could solve it all.

C'mon! Give me some suggestions!
(Um.. save those "You could try some classical music" or "Do something that will make you worry less" or "Who cares about whether you're stress or not? Face it!")

Had lunch with Jasmen @ Sakae early afternoon.

It was an obvious mundane city area judging by the way how? people dressed & showed up there.

Rewind the years back..

Once you step out of Orchard mrt station, you spot ladies in their best attire(whatever fashion then), best pair of footwear, the strongest/sexiest perfume you could even smell 10 feet away & with their same type of gfs or a compatible guy friend/boyfriend.

But of course for now, you spot the simliar scene except that I'm stressing on the dressing up part.

Don't you realise that people don't spend as much efforts to dress up as last time for a trip to town?

(After Mrs Tan's love noodles, I'm energized to write more ..)

I don't know if it's a good or bad thing.
But anyway, simplicity is the best!

I'm an included party as well, 'cos we 3 wore shorts out yesterday.

but it's all about plants toxin which caused humans to be abnormal(?) & start killing themselves, one by one.

& three months later(in the movie), things seem to resume to normal.

But after showing some scenes of normal lifestyle & stuffs, the movie ended with the crisis once again.

Super ultra sorry for the lack of updates as I'm really busy & tired to even use the com, not to say blogging.

I had a great time working at Messy.
Yesterday's my last day & I held back my tears.

Alive & kicking

I know, it's so unlike me to not even touch the com for the past 3 days. It's only 3 days, but it feels like ages (like 2weeks?).

All I could say for now is ..

1) I couldn't sleep well for the past few days.
There's even 1 day(fri?) when I dint sleep AT ALL, but still feeling super hyper & spent another night out. I could definitely spot some fine wrinkles PLUS the heavy eyebags!

2) If you happened to be at Bugis the past 2 days with your loverboy in a shop called Messy, you should have seen me! I'll only be there for a week, since I can't be a full-timer. Sad, isn't it?

I'm loving my colleagues each day! They're always full of laughter & I'll never ever get bored, even for a sec.

Today's my off day, and I'm missing them real bad!

3) I finally met up with the girls yesterday for sheesha. Hey babes, I miss u lot the most la! & we'll be partying tonight. Can't wait!

It's officially 3.30pm (yeah,no big deal) but it is when I've been kept up for 10hrs since I reached home at 6.

There's definitely something wrong with me. If not why don't I feel tired at all?!

Okay.. Lesser sleeping hours may not be a bad thing, (long sleeping hours makes one fat!) but it is when complextion starts to get worse & wrinkles show in no time!

Holidays? Not.

It's JUNE(!), yet I'm packed with school, h/w & stuffs.

I know.. Just 3-4 months of tolerance & I'm freeeeeee :D

Seriously, whenever I'm at home, I just can't seem to stick to my diet plan. All thanks to Mrs Tan continuously stocking up snacks!

Like now, I'm munching on a butter cake & bread after my dinner .. I can never slim down at this rate, i tell you!

What makes me look foward to currently is a drinking session @ Boat Quay with the girls this weekend plus the upcoming parties on the following weeks!

Super excited to have activities planned for some nights. I'm expecting to see a lot of familiar faces like previously at Rouge, but I'm NOT gonna back out this time!

Ferlyn's gonna have fun, dumping all those troubles away as well! (& I really pray that Ms does not come on any of the partying days. It really pulls my spirit down :[ )

Starhub event

Nowadays I'm just feeling so restless that I don't even bother to blog. Anyway, it doesn't really makes a diff 'cos I don't think people wld be that loyal & visit episodesof-ferlyn almost everyday (:

So here's the late entry on the Starhub event I did last Sun..

Freakingly tired after only 4-5 hrs of sleep, I forced myself out of bed & met up with the girls.

Headed to Farrer Park. Just as we step out of the station, all of us were bursting into laughter!

There's this dirty-green tee guy sleeping on the steps with his mouth wide open with a lollipop stick sticking out.

& i-forgot-who went over to take a shot!

Funny thing is, he turns out to be a worker for the event! Tell me about coincidences! :D

Jaz even went over & showed the pic to the dirty-green tee guy's friend.

Omg! He sure do feel embarrassed la!
Just that I didn't see him turning red like a tomato.

I'd dig myself a hole to hide if I were in his shoes.

So at about 3+, we started walking to our assigned place to give out the promotion flyers. Seriously, they were all printed in Indian/Tamil language I felt stupid to only understand numbers, like $128, $28 blah blah..

We were @ Weld Rd for a few hours & though the weather was hot, I felt pretty relaxed.

To almost every Indians/Bangalas I gave the flyer to, they took it!
So nice of them la!

I swear my opinion of them changed instantly! Not that I'm racist initially, but I've heard a lot of molest cases during occasions & stuff that being a human, I couldn't help being a little biased right?

Now if you ask me, I'd say
They are really friendly & nice people,
though there's bound to be some black sheeps who are fcuking idiots who go around ogling at girls & those are the ones who deserve to be beaten up.

Once the sun has set & we have 2 more hrs to 9pm, a few of us decided to change venue. If I remembered correctly, we were at Clive St where there's A LOT (I seriously meant a lot, like thousands & thousands) of Indians/Bangalas.

It's kinda scary to see SO many crowded in different groups, different areas.

At the end of the day, all of us were sweaty & tired out.

Corin & I went down for the interview on Fri which was @ Yishun, effin far.

But it was not a wasted trip, we got the job :D

Happily, we went to celebrate our success along with GSS.
GSS, it sucks!

I wasn't really convinced that it's GSS as not a lot of shops are having sales, even if they are, those sale items simply turns us off.

But being in an extremely good mood, I still bought stuffs :D
So much for GSS uh!

Expo food fair & Robinsons:

Accompanied Huimei to the food fair & I survived throughout w/o eating any of the delicious food (okay, maybe a few bites from Huimei's purchase).

The fried durian roll was super nice la! Though I detest the strong smell, it still tastes like heaven :D Go try it!

Seriously, I hated the way those don't know who the hell they are people treated the Guess? bags. I know it can't be compared to LV, Gucci, Burberry or Coach, but still, it's considered as a higher-end brand la.

Whatever!

On a happier note, the girls including me are working for Starhub event @ Little India tmr! Don't look down on flyer jobs 'cos this one we are doing offers way better pay than usual ones. Thanks Ah leong for the intro!

Fish Spa!

Sakura flowers are very enticing.

In the first place, honestly, I only liked their pink.

But now, after those research about sakuras, I must say they are my favourite flowers, other than lavender.

So near yet so far

Hanging out on the net in the wee hours, when I reach home, when everyone's asleep has become a routine.

Was home when there's a sudden downpour, unexpectedly heavy. Windows were wide open and things were blown, scattered all over the place. Worst of all, the thunder had to come along..

I was alone. Freaked out, I had no choice but to cover my ears, folded my legs and cuddled myself. If only...

It's 7 in the morning. Another sleepless night.

Mom placed a clock right infront of me; probably to remind me of the hours I've wasted developing dark circles instead of sleeping, but I guess her efforts were in vain.

Watching the loving moments of the babes with their guys, I'm turning green with envy. Of course, I'm really happy for them :D

I've dreamt of living in a small house,

Very good! Suspended from class 'cos of latecoming = total waste of time.

Bad habit

Yes, I've a very bad habit of procrastinating.

For example, right now, I shouldn't be blogging since I've got TWO lovely SS SEQs waiting for me by my boring brown desk.

Even so, I'm carrying out the duty of a good friend by helping Jaz advertise her blogshop!(Though I think Wanyi can do a better job than me, she has more readers. Lol)

weekend break

Caught Definitely, Maybe with Buddy as the girls were full of praises of it.

According to Huimei, I shld've cried when the sad part comes.
Turns out I'm cold-blooded(according to her again).
It's not just me, Buddy dint find the movie sad at all too!

Okay, maybe the part when the lil girl hugs her daddy goodbye.
Other than that, nothing else urges me to tear for it.

Today's kind of like a pampering session.

Headed to Seletar Country Club with Aaron & C.

I wasn't so interested in sports.
Went for a steam bath while the guys were having a swim.

It was heavenly just sitting in the room &
enjoying the hot steam(40+ degrees i think?).

My skin was like glowing & a lil red after that.
Haven't felt so healthy for so long (:

Everything related to UNO has ended yesterday. I hope so.

Headed to Vivo for some shopping later in the night.
C & I was so ~~dumb~~inexperienced with the whole mall
we nearly toured the whole place for the sake of GAP, Carls Jr, BK & 7-11,
not intending to initially.

Carls Jr. Such a sinful meal!

Left for Ritz Carlton ard 11 for a drinking party.
If C hadn't called a cab, we cld be stuck at the taxi stand for maybe an hr?
That's how looooooong the queue was.

First time there. But I wasn't wow-ing when I arrived.
I mean, it's a normal reaction for first-timers i guess?
Maybe I felt it's just a typical kind of posh.

Went very slow with the drinks as mind's full of emo shit(!).
Dumbass is in.

He's definitely a great friend 'cos everybody's feeling down.

Oh! When I stepped out of the hotel at approx. 3, it was raining cats & dogs!
I was fascinated the fact that the opp. of me is a view of dark-green forest, & I'm trapped in a lost castle. I swear the whole place looked artistic(?) enough for one to imagine.

Sadly, I aint got a camera with me else I'd capture that moment with no consideration! Haha

Simple yet nice stalks of flowers tempted me to kiss it (:

Voicing out

Oh, I really wonder if it's true that eyes are watching individual's every move, no matter who you are.
It could be YOU, your friend, random people you know or even strangers!

Got to know this thing & decided to make it short & sweet:

It all started with boredom, creating a foolish bet, leading to a careless mistake, having 2 pairs of sharp eyes, taking an envidence & commenting online.

& this lead to a big thing in the end.

I'm sorry, it's still not the end!

Then for i-don't-know what reasons, blogs came into the picture.

If one reveals too much about yourself, you could easily be in danger
'cos you may be the next target for (whatever crimes).

In case you still do not get it, it means that outsiders could
easily trace where you are according to your juicy posts &
make you their target!

Coincidentally, blogs are mentioned during Alive! lesson.

According to Mr P, one musn't bottle their feelings as it
could easily lead to suicidal.

& as we all know, teens love blogging nowadays.

Apparently, being too expressive in your posts may
-hurt one's feelings. Yes, I agree.
-have daggers shooting at you as people will say

'Wth? You sad or happy must let the whole world know?!' etc.

Main point is: Be yourself. Do not care about what others think.
I've seen so many people saying or blogging about it I wonder if anyone could really do it.
I mean, no matter what, you'll still get distracted by the things around you,
you'll still be affected by negative comments?

Pardon me, this post's main purpose is to help me recap in the long run.
I know it seems like a nuisance.
